- addremoveAre there any hidden fees?
Simply put, no. You choose the plan that's suitable for your business and we charge a single monthly subscription fee. As standard we charge VAT on top of your chosen plan. Unlike some, we do not have any hidden costs or extra add-ons. These are the only additional fees you could incur:
- Whether you choose an integrated payment provider or not, your card payment provider will charge monthly and/or transaction fees.
- Prices are per store and Saledock's POS software on 1 device. Saledock is £29 per month extra, for each additional device.
- You'll need to purchase hardware if your current hardware is not compatible. Check our compatibility list. You can also purchase hardware directly from us.
- addremoveAre there any upfront or one-off fees?
If you have chosen a 24 or 36 month contract plan, there are no upfront fees except data migration costs. Data migration starts from £300.
- addremoveHow much is my plan if I have more than 1 shop till/device or store?
Prices shown are per store and Saledock's POS software licensed on 1 device (aka shop till/device). Additional licenses are £29 per month each. Here's a few examples shown on a per month basis:
- 1 store and 4 devices = Pro plan for £186 per month (£99 + £29 + £29 + £29)
- 1 store and 2 devices plus eCommerce = Unified plan for £228 per month (£199 + £29) plus the cost of your site design
- 3 stores and 3 devices per store plus eCommerce = 1st store is the Unified plan £257 per month (£199 + £29 + £29) plus the Pro plan for the 2nd and 3rd store which is £314 per month ((£99 + £29 + £29) x 2) totalling £531 per month.
- addremoveDo I need to buy hardware?
Saledock is an Android Point of Sale and Windows solution, we've integrated with a wide range of popular and reliable hardware. Check out our compatibility list, if your existing hardware is compatible you will not need to buy any additional hardware. Some hardware is compatible with both IOS and Android so if you are switching from IOS please let us know and we'll let you know if your hardware is compatible. If you are a new business or your hardware is not compatible, buy hardware directly from us at very competitive prices. We don't lease hardware, you purchase the hardware and it's yours to keep.
- addremoveHow does eCommerce work?
We offer template eCommerce sites on the Unified plan and bespoke eCommerce sites on the Scale plan designed to make your brand shine. We don't use third-party platforms, we design and build your eCommerce site for you. Inventory for both your physical and online store is managed from the Saledock back office so you only need one system to manage everything. You still have complete control over your homepage, about page and contact page written content and media which is managed from your back office too.
No upfront options are available on the 24 and 36 month contract plans. The 36 month contract plan pricing is shown on our pricing page. A no contract option is available where you pay for the cost of the eCommerce site build as a one-off fee starting from £2000 then pay a smaller monthly subscription fee.
Template sites typically take 8-12 weeks and bespoke sites 12-16 weeks which is still a fast turnaround for an eCommerce site. We use Dojo eCommerce, Stripe, Paypal, Klarna, V12 Finance and Novuna as our secure payment gateway offerings. Payment gateway rates are negotiated directly with your provider, except for Stripe, where we charge up to 1.9% + 20p transaction fee, this includes the 1.5% + 20p that Stripe charges.

- addremoveHow easy is it to setup my account?
Our sales team with create an account for you, it only takes a couple of minutes. We'll delete any test products and sales you've created before going live.
Once your account is created just download the Saledock POS app from the Google Play Store, Sunmi App Store, Landi App Store or back office for the Windows version and you are ready to go. Manually add products and customers or bulk import if you have a large list. We'll happily help consolidate and migrate your data and perform a data integrity check before going live.
- addremoveCan I use my existing card payment provider?
Yes, although if your card payment provider is not a Saledock partner you won't have the benefits of integrated payments. We've written an article about the benefits of integrated payments which you may find helpful.
