New Heights Supply was founded in 1997. I remember that we had seven stores in 2005 when we decided to network all our locations. Today, we have 20 stores in our network. My name is Ishmael Nunez, and I’m the founder of NHS Hardware.

Inventory Management Across Multiple Stores

We decided to computerize our business because we needed better control over our inventory. We had to move away from our previous point-of-sale system because we needed the ability to sell products from other stores and transfer inventory between locations whenever necessary.

One of the key benefits of the Stratus vendor integration is that I can import catalogs from vendors and suppliers such as Orgill and Emery Jensen directly into our system. We can also import orders on a weekly basis. This saves me at least 10 to 20 hours per week.

Another feature we use regularly, and one that is crucial to our business, is corporate billing in Stratus. I can email customers their statements and invoices, including signatures. With our website, they’ll also be able to log in to their online portal and make payments directly.

What I like most about Celerant is that I can open a new store in just a few weeks. We recently opened a store in November. All I had to do was contact Celerant, and they imported the specific information I needed for that location, along with the assortments I wanted. That was it.
