THE JOURNEY

Challenge → Solution → Results

A strategic partnership built on understanding, innovation, and measurable outcomes.

CHALLENGE

Managing stock and orders across 22 stores

As Parkgate Mobility grew to 22 stores alongside a central warehouse and distribution centre, managing stock, purchasing and internal stock movements across multiple locations became increasingly complex.

Multi-location stock challenges: The business needed stronger control of inventory, purchasing and stock transfers across stores and the warehouse
Limited off-the-shelf options: Cost-effective systems focused heavily on sales but lacked the back-end functionality Parkgate Mobility needed
Growing administrative pressure: VAT, rebates and Making Tax Digital added complexity, while bespoke software was too expensive

SOLUTION

One system for stores, stock and purchasing

Parkgate Mobility chose Saledock for its professional, easy-to-use ePOS interface and its ability to support the company’s existing network of stores, warehouse and distribution operations without the cost of bespoke software.

Multi-location stock control: Sales, inventory, purchasing and stock movements are managed across stores and warehouses from one platform
Flexible, sector-focused functionality: Working closely with Saledock helped shape features around the needs of the mobility sector
Simplified accounting and compliance: Xero integration supports VAT handling, Making Tax Digital and day-to-day accounting

RESULTS

Greater stock visibility across 22 stores

Today, Parkgate Mobility uses Saledock to manage stock movements across 22 shops and a central warehouse with greater confidence.

Internal transfers that were once difficult to track are now managed digitally with clear visibility of stock across the organisation.

By simplifying purchasing, distribution, VAT and accounting, Saledock has helped Parkgate Mobility run a more efficient, scalable operation without the cost of bespoke software.

“

The challenge has always been finding a system that handles both front-end sales and the back-end stock control and purchasing side of the business. Saledock does exactly that.
