We started back in 1993. Jim’s Firearms has always kind of been a standalone gun store.

We really strive to be that one-stop shop for everybody. We make sure that they can get every single gun that they’re interested in, in their hands and really know which one’s right for them before they leave the store.

Outgrowing Existing Point of Sale Software in the FFL Industry

We had a prior point of sale system that we had been using for 20 years. We were getting everything that we could get out of that computer system and it was just time to kind of shift.

So it was really important to find a system that handled the unique needs of a firearm retailer.

The way that everything’s tied in together across all the stores is you have the Celerant back office, our Stratus back office. That’s kind of the main hub of everything.

So that one main hub connects up with FastBound across all of our sales channels.

We have two separate FastBound accounts, one for each store, and then we have a third FastBound account for specifically our eCommerce side that we warehouse.
